Coinbase Q3 Net Income Hits $719M as Prediction Markets Grow

Coinbase reported net income of $718.7 million for the third quarter of 2026, but adjusted net income of only $77.7 million, because the result included $715 million in net gains on crypto assets it holds for investment, according to the company’s results released on 29 October (US time; 03:09 on 30 October, Vientiane time). Adjusted EBITDA was $333 million, up 60% from the previous quarter.

Coinbase said its prediction markets passed $200 million in annualized revenue, average USDC held in Coinbase products reached a record $22 billion, and its share of crypto trading volume rose to 10.7%. Subscription and services revenue made up 49% of net revenue in the quarter.

The Block reported that total revenue fell 35% year on year to $1.22 billion and that spot trading volume fell 8% from the previous quarter to $135 billion. Chief Financial Officer Alesia Haas said prediction markets are adding another revenue stream that is “less correlated to crypto volatility”.
